Well, the audience could have been bigger (and older) but it wasn't too
bad, local band influence I guess. Bigger pictures
here.
First,RSI, who we like a lot, the new album is a bit harder in my
opinion and the new guitarist is pretty impressive. And pretty
too, Jo says...
Next, Me vs the Atlantic. Don't know what to say, I've seen
somewhere that this was their last gig, I quite liked them (tho other
people were less impressed, didn't like the name, and if they were being
rude about RSI then I'm less keen) and they used the lights well and I
do like the strobe, or whatever people use these days. Looks a lot
like strobes to me... Loud, screamy and (maybe a bit) derivative,
with some of the strangest dancing I've ever seen from some of the
audience...
Finally Outl4w, and it's hard not so say "They were really impressive
for a bunch of 15 year olds" when in actuality they were just really
good. We saw them 4 years ago at Morecambe and they've got better,
well worth seeing.
