Bletchley Irish Centre - 6/4/2007
The sound was better but if anyone from
the Irish Centre reads this, brighter lights and turn the volume down a
bit between bands. Just a bit brighter, just a bit quieter, and it
would be a lot better. From my point of view, anyway :-) But
these pics are crap, I'm sorry, I can't even be bothered doing links to
each band, just go down the page, there aren't that many.
First up,
Rotten Agenda. Old School! Bassist could carry Motorhead
or Hawkwind stuff, sounded good :-)
Second, Scheisse
Minnelli. Crazy guys, American singer, German band, very
energetic, very loud, nice people.
Third, AntiVigilante, with
their new drummer. Hope Cam is doing OK, these lads are.
They sounded better than ever, I liked the stuff I hadn't heard before
and they coped really well with the Scheisse Minnelli antics, I thought.
Good set.
Fourth, The Duel. I
REALLY like this lot, this set seemed a bit rockier, really really good.
Fifth, Dun 2 Def.
Excellent, hopefully see them again next Friday, with the Upstarts,
Vibrators etc.
