Models 2006

Pictures of stuff I finished in 2006, all 48th unless mentioned.

MPMs Arado Ar231 V1, I was on a bit of a submarine thing at the time. Not many pics, it really not worth it...

A couple of He-162s, both with Antares conversions, one to the to the A-11 variant and the other to a C (Antares provided the wings, I stretched the fuselage and changed the engine for one from a -262).  Check out Antares website, Marcelo has some great stuff!

And the C

Classic Airframe's Bf109A, review kit, very nice...

Aeroclub's Canberra, in the stash for a while, I figured when Airfix and Classic announced theirs I had better build it then or it would never happen.  And a very nice kit it is too.

The Revell Eurofighter, review kit, great selection of stores!.

Italeri Fiat C.R.42, review kit, not really my kind of thing.

Monogram Ju-52, review kit, great markings!

A couple of pics of a car, not my thing, club group build.

Hobbycraft DHC-3 Otter, long term build.  The original is in the museum in Brussels, well worth a visit.  This was built because of it (I had the kit, the inspiration came from seeing the example there) and for their show/contest held every two years (go to it, great show, last two times there's been beer festivals the same weekend).  Gratifyingly it won its class in Brussels and also got gold at Telford later in the year.

The Monogram (or is it Revell?) 72nd scale Shuttle, with a lot of work and the CE decals.  There will be a build article on this model on the Milton Keynes club website, one day.  www.mksmc.co.uk.

If you noticed the "Enterprise" markings on the shuttle, well done.  Sticking with the theme this is the Polar Lights 350th scale NX-01, a LOT of work, but again it got gold at Telford so it might have been worth it.  Battle damage all scratch built after many hours of studying the DVDs...

A trio of Vampires, Hobbycraft's rather poor FB5 and NF10 and the (much better) Classic T11/22.

And finally a few bits of armour, again, not really my thing.  Tamiya Tiger!  Eduard brass.

Then the Tamiya Citroen, again with some Eduard brass.

And that was 2006, onto 2007!
